Course Parameters Described

In this interactive online introductory course in Decision Making we offer an overview of the current approaches of decision making, as well as the various approaches to supporting decision makers.  We do this from the perspective of a conceptual framework for decision making in all areas of corporate and organisational activities.

Good Decision Making Skill is arguably the most important skill to develop in the knowledge economy.

Almost all successes and failures can be traced back to decisions that were made (or not made).  Yet it is also the single most common aspect of organizational reality that is neglected or given very little attention as we develop ourselves for promotion and  progress in the organization.  When it is not neglected, it is often over-simplified.

It is important to note that we do not adhere to only the rational view of decision making, neither do we focus only on analytical skills for decision making.  We engage the subject in its full complexity.  We guard against over-simplifying this complex phenomenon, but also do not subscribe to a view that says it is an "art" that cannot be studied in order to improve.

Up-skill your decision making capability by investing in our interactive, online course.  The goal of this course is to assist you in practical decision making, not only to help you understand the various approaches and theories about good decision making.
