Mariana holds an M.Sc in Technology Management, with a focus on Knowledge Management.   She has more than 15 years of experience in supporting decision makers in their organisational and strategic decision making, and in providing decision support tools and conceptual frameworks to enhance the quality of decisions.  She is also experienced in technology management and information systems, especially as tools for support of decision making. Combining excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Mariana utilises years of experience in identifying and maximising business development opportunities with an understanding of project management and budgetary controls.

Mariana also lectures part time at the University of Stellenbosch in their Centre for Knowledge Dynamics and Decision Making where she lectures in the Decision Making module of the masters program in Information and Knowledge Management (MIKM).  She has also published internationally in her field of expertise in leading peer reviewed journals and presented several papers at conferences.
